JEDI sponsors the IRS Volunteer Tax Assistance Program (VITA), which offers free tax preparation to senior citizens and low to-moderate income individuals and families with basic returns.
And it turns out, we are good at it; in 2010, JEDI was voted the IRS VITA Partner of the Year so we are very good at preparing returns within our scope!
Through this effort, seniors can rest easy that they are taking care of their tax business from a trust-worthy source. JEDI has assisted hundreds of wage earners to claim their fair portion of the $2 million in unclaimed Earned Income Tax Credit, Child Tax Credit and more.
JEDI Will Continue to Use the “Drop Off” Method for 2018
Drop off your tax documents beginning Friday, Feb. 2nd between 1:00 and 4:00 pm and pick up the completed return one week later on Friday morning between 9:00 and noon. Please allow at least 30 minutes for the drop and pick up meetings.
You can call JEDI at 530-926-6670 ext. 15 for information on what to bring or check the link to the flyers below.
